WMDA

The Western Maryland Dart Association is the largest organized steel-tip dart league in the Frederick, MD USA area. We have been running continuously for over 27 years. Our 500+ members participate in multiple divisions, on dozens of teams, sponsored by many of the Frederick area's bars and restaurants. Our primary goal is to provide a fun, challenging and rewarding darting experience for all our members. In WMDA, excellence and good sportsmanship are required. We stress individuality of each participant, and comaraderie among all WMDA members.

Don't think you're good enough to play league darts? You don't have to be an expert! We have separate divisions for players of all skill levels, from beginners to experts. In the WMDA, everyone can play and anyone can win.

Krug's place is hosting a 501 Men's Singles Qualifier for the WMDA this Saturday, July 19th and for the Women on Monday, July 21st. Doors open at 11:45. Signups start at 12:00 and play will start at 12:30 for the men. Signups start at 7:00 PM for the women. Entry fee is $10. This will be a round robin format. We are going to qualify a WMDA Non-division 1 shooter regardless of the outcome to participate. Shooters who qualify get a free entry fee for the Regional Qualifier next Saturday, July 26th in Hopewell, VA. Shooters who qualify for the Regional get a free trip and entry fee to the National Qualifier for the US World Cup team in Austin, TX in October. Qualifier's are a great way to play many different people from all divisions and play a lot of darts for a very small price. Any questions please call Andy Bowers at 301-639-3230.
